Nine Young Ladies to Seek
2016 Dairy Festival Title

Nine young ladies, that are juniors in high school, in Hopkins County, will be seeking the 2016 Hopkins County Dairy Festival Queen title, as they build floats, perfect talent, and enjoy learning about the Hopkins County Dairy Festival. Even though the contest isn't until June, candidates and their parents were treated to a dinner and "meet and greet" on Monday night, at the Southwest Dairy Museum, to become acquainted with the Dairy Festival Board, fill their calendars with important dates, and to learn all about the events that will be taking place during Dairy Festival Week.

2015 Queen Sidney Dietze was on-hand, as well as her parents, Jason and Jill Dietze, to offer advice and to encourage each of the young ladies to have a wonderful time during the contest and the many, many events.

Emma Boyett, daughter of Oran and Jeanine Boyette

Lauren Helm, daughter of Jonas and Melanie Helm

La' Mier Pryor, daughter of Leanetta Pryor
